Server Transfer/Name Changed. HALP

So I paid to faction change and server transfer my Druid (Naturalist) From spirestone, back to horde tanaris. I'd leveled another character on Horde Tanaris that also had the name Naturalist, so before I brought my other druid back, I changed the name of the one on Tanaris already so I could use Naturalist on my main druid.

However, now when I try to log into my main druid, it flags me for a name change and then when I try to enter "Naturalist" it says the name isn't available.

I don't think it's a problem with somebody managing to take the name from me between the switches.. so what do I do? I don't want to just change the name to something else to play it for now because I don't want to be screwed and have to pay for ANOTHER name change later when this gets fixed. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

The biggest issue here, I'm afraid, is that you did a paid name change on the original character.

That does put a lock on the name and that's not a lock I believe we can touch. Now, what we may be able to do is help facilitate a name change once the name becomes available.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to contact Billing to see if there is anything they could do, but if they tell you that's a hard lock as I suspect - well, it's a hard lock for a period of time. I'm not certain if they could reverse that portion of the transaction for you - would be something to investigate.

I'd say go ahead and pick a new name to play. Still, contacting Billing just as soon as possible would help with documentation in the event it does take time to resolve this - if indeed there is nothing they can do to be of more immediate assistance.
