After exiting the game, updating some add-ons, and relogging, I lost 4 seals. I only had 137. I contacted a GM and the GM said that the dailies no longer give out Champion's Seals. He stated that now, only the purses give out seals. I told him that I'm looking at the reward screen on my paladin while talking to him and it specifically states that the game rewards both the seals and the purses. He said that on his screen, it only displays the purses as rewards. He then told me that it's a UI issue and that I need to reset my UI.
He then told me that on my game log, I never went past 137 seals and that I got 5 seals from the bags. He said one of the bags gave me 2 seals.
I reset my UI and checked the rewards screen for the Argent Tournament dailies. They still showed both the seals and purses as rewards. I tried it on another computer and it's the same thing.
I then completed Heroic ToC to end the day on 140 seals. When the dailies reset, I did the 4 dailies. After the dailies, I had 149 seals. Again, 5 seals from the dailies and 4 seals from the bags (not 5 as the GM stated I got the previous day). 2 new dailies opened up since I became a Champion of a city and had exalted status with The Sunreavers. I completed one more daily, "You've really done it this time, Kul". After that, I had exactly 150 seals. This was no UI issue since I was able to purchase the Sunreaver Dragonhawk.
So what is going on here? The GM specifically said that dailies no longer reward seals and that I didn't get 9 seals on patch day but what he said was not true at all. This is also definitely not just a UI issue or a cache issue since if it was, I wouldn't have been able to buy the Sunreaver Dragonhawk.
This issue occurred on my rogue, Cammyummy on Silvermoon.
