Rolling Realm Restarts 10/14/2010

We will be performing rolling restarts on all U.S. realms beginning at 5:00AM PDT, October 14. Additionally, we will be performing rolling restarts on all Oceanic realms beginning at 12:00PM PDT, October 14. We anticipate that each realm will be down for no more than 15 minutes. The overall process will last approximately 1 hour.

New breaking news is up. The skinny is, there were unforseen technical issues and they do not have an estimated time that the realms will be back up.

So.. might as well go find something else to do and try again in a few hours. Even if that means spending time with your wife or family.

I'm going to the grocery store and then maybe I'll come home and do the laundry. That should kill off a couple hours productively.

Indeed that is the latest news. Posted at 6:10, I'll see if I can't get the Service Status Forum updated as well.

It appears realms are returning.
