My spellbook is telling me I have to visit my trainer to learn Insect swarm...but when I visit my trainer there is nothing left for me to train?

Indeed, this is a known issue:

There is currently an issue with some Druids where your spellbook directs you to visit a trainer to learn the spell. Unfortunately once you get there the trainer indicates that you already know it.

We currently do not have an update at this time.
