Nameplates Broken!

Ever since the patch, my nameplates are acting all messed up. I'm not using any addons at the moment, so this must be a game issue.

Before the patch, I use to hit 'V' or 'shift-V' to bring up enemy or ally nameplates. Now, i'm getting a variety of different effects. I went into the interface options and checked the Nameplate boxes to make sure I had them on, but even stranger things happen.

Now when I hit 'V' or "shift-V', I either get incomplete nameplates, or sometims it will make people have names above their heads, or their names will completely disappear. Kinda hard to figure out who your enemy is when they have no nameplate or even a red name above their head =P

Sometimes there are nameplates and I get happy. But then I realized not everyone has one. I can stand in Ironforge and hit 'shift-V' over and over and watch the nameplates appear, but over differnet people's heads each time i hit it. I can stand in a crowd of ally and , for some reason, it won't put nameplates over all the allies within range, it will only do a few of them, if any. Then I hit 'shift-V' again and sometimes their names will disappear completely, then hit it again and get nameplates again, but only on a few and some different ally then before.

In BG's I hit 'V', hoping to get enemy nameplates, and all their names disappear completely. If i do get nameplates, it won't put them on all enemies within range...

any else having this issue?

Heya Droodi,
Q u o t e:
CSF Representative Zenlyth posted the following in another thread. While the issue is ongoing, she recommended trying these commands to see if you can get the Nameplates to work. These aren't guaranteed, but it's worth a shot:

/console bloattest 1 - Might make nameplates larger but it fixes the disappearing ones.
/console spreadnameplates 0 - Makes them overlap like they used to.
/console bloatnameplates 1 - Makes nameplates larger depending on threat percentage.
/console bloatthreat 1 - Makes nameplates resize depending on threat gain/loss. Only active when a mob has multiple units on its threat table.

We are currently aware of the issue, in the mean time please try these commands.
