Why?
Game Difficulty.
Can you Tell us More?
The game is too easy, not a challenge.
Additional Comments:
I used to be a dedicated raider both in BC and WotLK but lost interest when the game became only about Gear Scores and Recount. The ability to grind out amazing gear in face-rolled heroics which was better than hard-earned Naxx, Ulduar, ToC gear invalidated all the time/work that was put in to earning it. End-game raiding completely lost its appeal.
Though some of the grind associated with end-game raiding has been addressed (specifically the 10, 25, heroic, non-heroic redundancy) the game is still a face-roll. The toughest raids are easily puggable. DPS classes/specs can tank mobs without dying, making healers go oom, or even cause healers to pull heal aggro (this goes for leveling instances as well as many end-game 'heroics'). No one needs to know HOW to play this game anymore to be successful at it.
It is almost impossible to die/wipe/fail in this game. For a game to be more than an exercise, it must be challenging. There must be the ability to both win and lose, succeed and fail. This is no longer the case. If a shaman can tank 5 mobs in a dungeon without dying and the healer doesn't pull heal aggro... then whats the point of a tank? or a healer even? This is frustrating and since the game has only continued to get easier in my time here, I doubt this will be corrected. Of course, I am still giving this feedback because I hope some day it will be.
There are seperate classes/roles etc so that people can specialize. Specialization means that classes need weaknesses! Make DPS squishy(er), reduce tank/healer damge... shouldn't dualspec address any complaints about this type of specialization?
Thank you for reading my drawn out explanation.
