How about extending my <removed> monthly expiration an extra day ? Blizzard brags about 12 million people online (12,000,000 time $15/month = $180 000 000 or 2.16 billion a year) for a company that makes more than many small countries, maybe that extra day wouldn't break their banks and may just show they respect customers? Probably not.

In the event, Gozonuts, today’s maintenance qualifies for an extra day to be added to players’ accounts, it will be done so realm wide, not per person.
