My account recently got hacked and now it's been locked so I have to email this Account Recovery PDF to Blizzard to get it back. When I first created this account a few years ago I didn't really want to enter my real information so I submitted a different name than my given birth name. When I submit my ID along with the Account Recovery Form and Blizzard sees that my given name is different from the name I use on Battle.net is this going to be a problem? Also my addresses are different because on my Battlet.net account I have the address of my residence hall where I live because I am currently attending college and on my photo ID I have my home address. Will this be an issue when I recover my account?

Heya Markweain,

You will need to contact Billing and Account services to recover the account, they will be the ones to let you know if the name or address will be a problem. It really depends on what all you can verify on the account. Here is the information: Account Services
Assists with: billing issues, password recovery, paid services, subscriptions, payment issues, account management, etc

Hours: 7 AM to 8 PM Pacific Time
How to contact:
Please understand that they are experiencing high call volumes for the time being; if you get a busy dial tone please keep trying. Your patience is appreciated during this time.

Q u o t e:
What kind of information could I give them to verify that it was my account?

If you are the legitimate original account holder, that shouldn't present much of an issue :)

They'll let you know what they need when you contact them.
