Achievement not awarded

A group of 10 of us decided to farm Ulduar drakes last night, since the patch is likely to be this Tuesday and we don't wan to pay 5k gold for the 310% speed.

However a bit before we got firefighter I released spirit, and because of that I missed the achievement. I was eligible for the loot, and got an emblem of triumph, so logic dictates, I should have gotten the firefighter achievement as well.

After tonight or tomorrow, this will be the only achievement I need for the drake, and I was wondering if there was anything that could be done, as I doubt I'll be able to get a group to go that far into Ulduar again and don't want 4 hours of my life to go to waste. In game GMs could not help me.

Actually, Validia, previously if you had released you would be eligible for nothing, no loot or emblems. Our Developers, not all that long ago, decided to allow for those who participated in the fight to still be eligible for loot/emblems in most cases, even if the person released or was temporarily disconnected.

Simply because these concessions were made though it does not indicate that you meet the achievement requirements. The majority of achievements require you to be present at the time of the kill, this is how they were designed to work. I'm afraid if you were not present at the kill you could not be awarded the achievement.

If you would like to see how this system works you are welcome to post in the Suggestions forum where our Developers can review your feedback.

Best of luck to you next time.
