I recently transfered one of my characters to a new server. Before I transfered I saved the name I wanted on a level 1 alt and logged into he game with it, so I know it was available.

After I transfered the character, I deleted the level one with the name, but it still says the name is unavailable for the toon I transfered. How long will it take for the name to become available? Is there any way to force it to be available?

The name because available right away, Goodmoonkin.

The problem I see is that a character race change was also initiated. If you did not login to the character in between services, it causes your character to be flagged for name change. This will effectively make the name unavailable.

You will need to open an in game ticket using another character and report the issue to our game masters. They will be able to unflag the character name change.
