Justice points bugged

When I first got in today I had something over 14k (at least) justice points from the conversion, but after raiding in ICC a bit thru the night I now seem to have only 4k (exactly) justice points. I didn't spent any of the points, so why did I lose over 10k? Can I get them back to where they were when I first logged on?

Yeah, I know the softcap is 4k, I dont expect to earn anymore til I figure out how to burn off the excess, but I havent spent anything yet. I'd hate to lose 10k of justice points from some bug in the system.

Honestly 14k sounds so excessive - I question if that was simply a graphical error.

How many badges did you have to convert? I suspect it was a graphical issue that corrected itself when you zoned.

Not so much. I had 18,800. Spent about 6k and have 12k left. Fortunately mine hasn't mysteriously capped yet. I could have bought gems but the market seemed kinda depressed and triumphs just kept piling up. I had like 1200 or something.

I did get scammed out of 1100 when I accidentally bought 2 chests and couldn't return one.

If you are currently over cap - refunds aren't going to work unless you are under at the time - and once the two hour window is gone, well - that won't be an option either.

What is the exchange rate here? When I last logged on, I had around 140 frost emblems and about the same number of triumphs. I know I had enough set aside so I could buy a bunch of heirloom gear for the goblin I was planning to start, but when I signed on today, I only had 4087 justice points, which isn't even enough for 2 pieces. And what's worse, I read this thread and figured maybe I just couldn't see the rest of my points, so I actually bought a piece, only to find out that not only are the points I'm supposed to have gone, but I can't even return the gear I bought!

Not impressed at all.

There is quite an extensive amount of information about the new currency types in this post, Annkou.

I have a different problem. I have almost 10k Justice points on this toon, but I can't spend them. When I hover over something to buy, the cursor remains black and if I click to buy nothing happens. I tried shift clicking to bring open the number box and that doesn't work. I also tried on a different toon with only 500 Justice points and that toon can't buy anything either. Very strange.

Dahk

In your case, I'd try a full reset UI Dahk. That does sound like an interface issue.

To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.

Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.

Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.

More detailed instructions for different operating systems, including Macs are here.
