I bought 3 of these a month ago for some of my alts because I was moving them to another server. Am I correct in assuming these are worthless now?

Needless to say I'm a little teed off right now considering I probably spent 3000 gold for nothing.

Please tell me I will be able to sell them back or trade them for fast flying.

The tome was removed from the flight trainer, Kharmah.

You are still able to use the tomes.Keep in mind that refunds are not available due to content changes.
