Changing the name of a guild

I have a guild(this one) that has been used as a bank, has all 6 tabs purchased. With the upcoming changes to guilds in cataclysm, I'm thinking of starting my own actual guild.

While the name of this guild might be amusing to me, it may not be well suited to a serious guild. I'd also rather not have to buy all six bank tabs again....So, is it possible to get a guild's name changed for no other reason than that it no longer suits the guild?

It may indeed be possible, Peluria. Go ahead and submit an in-game petition and request that your guild's name be changed. To expedite the request you may want to include up to five possible guild names arranged from most desired down.

If we are able to grant the request and the name is available we should be able to help. :)
