Recruit a friend in the wrong order?

I recruited a friend for my cousin so i can get the rocket. he made the account, and upgraded his account to BC and then we realized that we were supposed to enter the recruit a friend code before. is there any way around this?

If the account was recently created, Theparadox, there may be something that our Billing department can do. Have the person who you recruited give them a call during business hours.
