Transfering Servers

I want to transfer servers for the first time since this game came out. I finaly found the perfect server, close to my house, in my time zone, and nice people, etc... Also all my character names are avaliable.

So I went on the new server and make a level one character with my names to save my names, and I am going to transfer over. But once I transfer to the new server, how do I get the name from my level 1 character onto my transfered character?

If I delete the character someone might take the name before my transfer is completed, if it takes a long time.

You should be able to transfer the character over, Rothly, then, once the transfer has completed simply delete the level 1 character. This will free up the name, and allow you to login without selecting a new name for the veteran character! :0)
