Character Wipe?

I've played for a long time. A while ago I had to unsub because I went to basic training. I just got out of training(longest two years of my life) and now when I resubed all my old characters are gone.

I'm not sure, and I can't find anywhere that says that after a time Bliz wipes characters, if that's the case then sucks to be me, but if there was some other problem and I can get my characters back then what would I have to do?

The characters were on Tethlorian if that helps at all.

I'm sorry to hear of the situation, Warnage, but a Game Master should be able to investigate some of what happened. Please note that due to the length of time, characters below a certain level may be irretrievable if they were deleted.

Items or gold may also be tricky, as we almost certainly have no logs dating back to two years ago for such a restoration. However, I do wish you the best of luck in retrieving your account and characters, and hope we are able to restore as much as possible to you!

In the mean time, you may consider investigating your computer for any signs of compromise. I know it's been a long time, but you can never be too safe. >^.^<
