Changing email... affects authenticator?

I wanted to make sure before I change to a more secure email address that actually changing my email in my battle.net account will not adversely affect my authenticator? I do not have to remove and then re-activate my authenticator do I? I just change the email and should be able to use the authenticator without interruption correct? Sorry, I could not find any resources for this question.
