Posting on behalf of a friend, who is getting this error.

The only other reference to this error I found was a thread on the EU forums:
http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=13200610150&sid=1

It is not anywhere close to her Billing cycle date at the moment.

Any information would be appreciated.

It's possible that she was on the beta forums. I will pass that on to her.

Let us know, Pahanda. I believe Kaidiel is correct though I have only seen that error once before and it was just after SCII was released.

I was also. There was also an email in my junk filter telling me that...

Do you guys do emails like this?

I'm not entirely certain what this has to do with the subject of the thread, Shaelis, but no, we do not. :)

An account is not registered to a specific IP and though we do have some security measures in place that may temporary lock an account if suspicious activity is detected you shouldn't need to log into a site to verify who you are. If suspicious activity is detected you should receive an e-mail through your registered e-mail address with a link to click on and reset your password.

More information on phishing e-mails and how to detect them can be found in the following thread.

As many of you are aware this issue should now be resolved.

Thank you all for your patience.
