RP Realm Rules No Longer Enforced?

I've been reporting unpronounceable/out-of-character names and blatantly out-of-character guild names such as <[Removed]>, <[Removed]>, <[Removed]>, <[Removed]> and others like them, much as I have been reporting them for the last few years on my server.

It's important that I report them because my server is an RP server and these types of names and guild names (one guy is named [Removed]) are highly disruptive to the suspension of disbelief.

I always saw results when I'd report in the past. Ridiculous names and guild names would vanish over time and things would settle down.

But suddenly, no matter how much my guildies and I report, these names persist, the guilds continue recruiting and we've reached a point where literally hundreds of unacceptable names and dozens of unacceptable guilds are running rampant on our server.

Has there been an official policy change? Did our old GMs move on to greener pastures, leaving trainees in their place?

What's going on?

Our overall policies have not changed, Ragepaws, names that we believe violate the RP policy on an RP realm as still addressed when reported.

If you have reported a name that you are fairly certain should have been changed and it was not you are welcome to write to our feedback address. The matter will be looked into. The e-mail address is: [email protected].

Please continue to report any name that you feel violates these as well as our normal naming policies.
