Refer a friend trouble

Im having trouble with refer a friend i followed all the steps to doing this and went out and bougt my wife the game and sub. card and added it it says im linked on my account page but does not on hers and we are not recieving any of the bonuses. Could i please get some help on this issue?

It appears as though your wife did not use the Recruit-A-Friend invitation when she set up the account, Dontrunaway.

I may be able to work my magic for you both, but I need for you both to completely exit the game. Once you have done so, update the thread.

At this point you may both log back into the game. She will no longer see WOW2 as it has been removed.

Invite her to a party and then see if you have the ability to summon her. Alternatively, if the characters are within 3 levels of each other, attempt to kill a mob that is not “gray” in color for either of you. You will know if you receive triple experience by viewing the Combat Log.

ok its working but the wow 2 option is still there but we are getting 300% exp and have the summon ability and whatnot....

Once the account information updates she will no longer have the WOW2 option. Deleting the Cache folder located in the World of Warcraft folder will refresh the account as well.
