Hacked - account recovery failed?

I sent in a recovery form this morning on my battle.net account. I sent in a recovery request, I changed my password (with the link the request gave me) and ordered an authenticator. However, I just got this email from [email protected]
Apparently Blizzard tried to recover the wrong account on my Battle.net. One that has been inactive for over 2 1/2 years.
I sent in another request using my CD Key instead of secret question but I haven't gotten any confirmation email.

From what I am able to determine, Velendra, was that both accounts were investigated as a result of the webform being submitted.

When the Game Master emailed you with the results they referenced the inactive account rather than the active one. Give me a moment to check on this for you to be certain each account was reviewed. I will update the thread when I have more information.
