Can this be changed?

I received a beta invite in my email today. I logged onto my account just to be certain the email wasn't fake. It's not. However, the invite is for my second account that was a trial ( attached to my main account with Blizzard ) a long time ago. Is there anyway to make the beta be usable on my current account?

I'm a bit confused, Khayra - do you have two Battle.net accounts?

The Beta is not attached to any of your live WoW accounts, though they may share the same name. If you see a trial with WoW1 and a PTR with WoW1, they are not the same account - they just happen to be the first created account after Battle.net mergers became required that are associated to your Battle.net.

As a clearer example, if you created another account on the European servers, and this would be your first European World of Warcraft account, it would also show up as WoW1 - but it would still be an entirely separate account.

That is an incorrect assumption, Khayra - WoW1 is simply the name of your Beta account. Your Beta Account WoW1 and the trial account WoW1 are independent from one another.

Your Trial WoW1 is the first WoW account associated with North American servers, while your WoW1 account on the PTR servers happens to be your Beta access. If you were also signed up to participate in the actual PTR, it would show up as WoW2. If you signed up for another trial, that one would also list as WoW2. It's simply a numbering system that is related to which servers the account accesses. I know this can be confusing, so thanks with bearing with me. >^.^<

Beta access is granted to a Battle.net account, not a World of Warcraft account.
