Don't move topics and then lock them

I recently wrote a topic on a BG forum about players' behavior in AB and what they should have done regarding an exploiter. For some reason that topic was sent over here to customer service when it wasn't a customer service issue.

When I responded that it wasn't a customer service issue a moderator locked it and said then it doesn't belong on this forum. Well, duh! I never put here in the first place nor wanted it here. It was only for players of that BG realm. Don't wag a finger at me for someone's mistake for moving that thread. Send that thread back from whence it came where it was posted originally.

I read your other post, Venter, and there may have been some confusion as to the nature of your post.

Most players will post in the Customer Service Forum with complaints about bots or exploits in BG’s. In turn we will advise the players to open a ticket to report the matter so we can begin an investigation. I can understand why your thread was moved to the CS Forum, but I can also understand where you were coming from. It sounds as though other players in the BG were using this exploit to their advantage. Other players then chimed in with stating the issue should be reported, and as such you ended up here.

Orlyia gave you the information you need in order to get the matter reviewed:

And yet I don't see a petition on this account reporting this Venter.

That is the way to get an issue like this addressed. In a cross-realm environment, the player name AND realm are important bits of information.

Ultimately, reporting players for using exploits and the like is the proper way to address this issue. It appears as though at the time of that response you have not done so.

Yeah but they both work for the same company, the company that I fork over money to on a monthly basis, so there is a connection there somewhere even if the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing in this case apparently.

Each forum is moderated separately, and apparently the moderator of the forum you initially posted in felt your post could best be answered on the CS Forum. If you feel as though the thread was moved in error, you may wish to email the Community Managers and Forum Moderation Staff: wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com.

While creating another thread about the same issue, especially after the other thread was locked, does constitute a temporary ban from the Forums, I am not going to do that. Instead you have been given the proper way to address these issues in the future.

This thread will be locked, though, if it cannot remain civil.
