Though I understand the notion that providing any factual information online can lead to identity theft, etc... but the fact remains that regardless of if you feel comfortable enough or not, Katelyn, when you create an account you are agreeing to abide by the policies listed. Those policies include that:
Q u o t e:
You represent that you are an adult in your country of residence. You agree to these Terms of Use on behalf of yourself and, at your discretion, for one (1) minor child for whom you are a parent or guardian and whom you have authorized to use the account you create on the Service.
And:
Q u o t e:
When creating these accounts, you may be required to provide Blizzard with certain personal information, financial information and an unused Authentication Key provided to you by Blizzard. You agree that you will supply accurate information to Blizzard when requested, and that you will update that information promptly after it changes.

Now this generally will not result in the immediate closure of the account but it can create an issue for you if you ever need to verify that you are the registered user of the account.
In some cases the account may need be locked and will usually only be unlocked if you are able to provide appropriate verification.
If you have your CD key, and can answer account specific questions I highly recommend contacting our Billing and Account Services, they should be able to help update your account information.
You can call 1 (800) 592 5499 (1-800-59-BLIZZARD) 7AM-8PM (PST/PDT) for live representation.
Australian users should please call 1-800-041-378 if the standard 800 line does not work.
