Compromised Account

Back in July my account was hacked for the fourth time and my password was changed and my secret question wouldn't work so i decide it was time to quit.now that cataclysm is about to come out i am trying to get back into wow,i got my account back but all my characters gear have been stripped,profs are gone banks are stripped and i lost a month of game time because of that hacker. All blizzard will do is give me gold equivalent to my characters level times ten,like my 80 got 800G my 74 got 740G and so on and so forth they told me to just buy new gear with the given money and that they wont....sorry, cant do anything else about it,my 80 had 4600G on it when i left and i cant just buy epic gear so i feel like I'm being screwed over.like they are just trying to whip through my problem and do the least amount possible.oh and i did have the Authenticator on when my account was hacked

You may wish to consider yourself lucky to even receive the gold, Zonkensouki.

Restoration is never guaranteed no matter how many times an account has been compromised. Since you have been compromised multiple times in the past the fact you received gold for the characters was more than we had to do in this case.

This statement caught my eye and so I thought I would investigate a bit further. It turns out at the time of the compromise there was not an authenticator on the account. It has been removed a couple weeks prior to the account being compromised.

Since the Game Master provided you gold on the characters the issue is considered resolved. You are more than welcome to submit another ticket concerning this matter but chances are you will receive a reply that the issue has been addressed and does not qualify for restoration.
