Question about Cataclysm Beta Invites

Greetings all.

I'm a player who has been inactive for some time and I have a question about a cataclysm beta invite I recieved earlier from an e-mail address and double checked my battle.net account, and the e-mail was true enough, but the one thing that puzzles me the most is I got a beta invite when my account was inactive and frozen at the time.

My question is this: Are frozen or closed accounts eligible to be selected for a cataclysm beta invite if they signed up for it before cancling? Before you think about moving this topic to the cataclysm boards, I have checked there with no answers, but if you can't provide me answers, at least move me to the right place.

Any answers to this question would be most helpful and I am thankful to be selected for a Beta invite...If you want me to post the e-mail or request of it, then I will in my next post, but please do check under the name I'm posting on since it is linked to my main battle.net account.

Thank you in advance to any CSF mods, or overly helpful players!

If you did register for the Opt in beta, through your account management page before you canceled, it’s possible for you to have received the invite while you were inactive. However, there is no real way of knowing if we verify that you are active or not. When we send out the invites, they are sent randomly and pulled from the Opt in data.

I'd like to see if I'm still eligible for the beta on this character and realm for this account.
Looks like it to me, Chaoticka. Your account is still flagged for beta access.
