Been having issues with imideate dicconects

this started happening a while ago ( a few months ago to be roughly) but when ever i try to play wow when it loads up after the character select loading screen, my game freezes as soon as i can see everything, sometimes for minutes, and then it kicks me back to the log in screen,it never used to do that to me before so im concerned. i dont know why it keeps doing this, but i already flushed a prepaid card down the drain in the summer thanks to this issue and i dont wanna have to stop playing because of it. the issue isnt just limited to my account either because a friend couldnt log onto his account here either, and i tried to do it with a 10 day and it didnt work either. i ran the wow error thing and nothing came up. im stumped and would love some help figuring this out so i can play some wow again

You are actually posting this issue in the Customer Service Forum, Aliverrh, and as such our knowledge of technical issues may be limited.

With that said, and based on your description, there is something that is blocking the connection, possibly a firewall or anti-virus program. Also the fact that it is not only happening when you try to log in but to your friend as well is also a good indicator it is computer specific.

If you were unable to use the Game Card time due to the Technical issue, we may be able to assist with that as well. You would want to resolve the Tech issue first and then have the representative look into the possibility of adding the time missed back onto the account.
