Are you serious, about charging me, with this accusation?!? I do not even have a virus, Trojan, nor keylogger; only a father who is willing, to pay an arm and a leg, for both his account and mine. This e-mail I got, just yesterday, is already threatening, and also discriminatory. My dad's been paying for both accounts, for the past two years, and now this?

Wow... that's a very convincing copy/paste of one of our account compromise e-mails, Kaelathara. The link I edited out for you was malicious.

There have been no actions currently taken on your account - that is most certainly a phishing scam. However, if you followed any of the links in that e-mail, I highly recommend scanning your computer for infections and possibly changing your password. I've provided you some information on how to spot these scams, as well as checklists you may want to look at if you suspect your information may be compromised.

Q u o t e:
It should be said...Game Masters do not give out their real names out.

To clarify, it is not required of a Game Master to provide their real name, but it is a personal choice that is entirely optional to provide first name, last initial only.

Ouch! So, I've got someone out there, phishing for my information? Luckily, I never followed the links; never seen anything like this before.
Looks like it, Kaelathara. As long as you practice safe web browsing and you look out for these type of phishing e-mails you should be fine.

Adding a Blizzard Authenticator can help you keep the account secure. Completely optional.
