Server transfer question

I'm wanting to transfer one of my 80's to a new server but the 80 is Alliance and im wanting to make him Horde on the new server. Will I have the option of making him a horde when i transfer him over or will it automatically make him alliance? Just wondering if I will have to do a server transfer and a faction change. That can be costly. Thanks for the help :)

You would need both a Server Transfer and a Faction Transfer to both move the character and change faction, Solomonkane. I'm afraid these services are mutually exclusive - using one would not automatically allow you to use the other.

Also keep in mind there are no longer restrictions on which factions you can have on a single server - you may have both Horde and Alliance on the same server, regardless of the type of server.
