"I got your message while offline". Dodgy GMs

I have been playing this game a long time and I've noticed something over the years. Im not angry about it just thought it was kind of comical. Many times, not always but a LOT of times I put in a ticket, the second I log off I get the GM reply. Not logged off for an hour or for even 5 minutes.

Sometimes I lose my connection so I restart the wow client. In that minute or so is where probably 7/10 of my GM replies come in. Not for major issues, but for minor things like a name report or someone on the roof in a BG.

Do you guys have similar experience? I really think for minor issues they purposely wait until you log out, then send your reply. Just kind of shady if you ask me.

....I have a bridge I'd like to sell to you.

Can I place a bid on it? ;)

There's numerous reasons as to why a Game Master may not contact you regarding your issue. It may be the kind of issue that does not require contact. You may have used the 'Report a Problem' button rather than the 'Talk to a GM' button when submitting your petition. Or it could be the occasional glitch that keeps a Game Master from being able to tell if you are online.

In my past experience when I worked as a Game Master, there were times I tried to contact a player who was AFK several times, but who never responded. That player is then logged out automatically by the server and never sees the attempts that I made to contact, only the offline resolution I sent them. It would have been necessary for me to move on to other petitions.

Game Masters do want to contact you - they are out to provide the most epic customer service experience they can. But there are times it may just not be possible, or necessary, for them to do so. We do want to keep those ticket times down as much as possible too!
