Blizznotice Whisper Scam

I received a whisper message from blizznotice (which I reported as spam) saying that there were complaints about me registered from other players and that they would be closing my account if I didn't log into their web 'site. They even signed it "Blizzard Accounts Inc." or something like that... it all sounded rather official. This is a rather concerning scam that I've never seen or heard of before. The domain <removed> is registered to someone in China...

Yes, that was indeed a phishing whisper, Ophnerity.

If the account is involved in anything that violates our rules, we would disconnect you from the game and then send you an email telling you why. We would not do anything of this nature in game.

If you continue to receive whispers of this nature please right-click on their name and report the whisper as Spam.
