How can i change my legal name on battle.net

my battle.net account was setup for me by my buddy while i was overseas and now i cant put my name on the account. i have been able to change everything else but cant change my name and my friend thinks its funny i was just wondering if there is a link i missed?

That would depend on a few things. Was it just the Battle.net account that was created in the wrong name or was is the World of Warcraft account? How long has the account existed with that name?
