Hacked, and doomed!?

Hiya, sorry to bother you.

I recently got back from visiting my father in France and one of the first things I did was go to add time to my warcraft account through bnet. But my info had changed, so I called you guys and you helped return it to my original email (thanks). The problem is that I added time today and logged in only to find that some of my best PvE items are gone and my bags were full of nothing but cloth and greens. :/ (not to mention I was moved to a new server with a more silly name)

Because it saved my PvE preset gear in the outfit changer thingy, I actually know which items are gone. A belt (the armor pen leather one from the frost vendor), a cape (the armor pen one from frost vendor), my chest (a leather armor pen one from ICC), a trinket (I honestly can't remember >.<), a ring (I'm guessing armor pen...), and a neck, which I can't remember either. I think lots of other stuff is missing but it's been a long time and I can't remember things like how much gold I had or if I'm missing any pvp gear.

I think I'm doomed because according to bnet the hacker didn't add time (cheapo) and it looks like it ran out when my game time did and hasn't been played since, so this must have happened about 4-5 months ago. Is that too long ago to get these things recovered? Or can you guys help?

Either way, thanks.

I took a look into the situation for you you, Kittenkïsses, and as both the specialists who were in contact with you have replied, we were unable to verify losses as too much time has passed. =>.<= Remember that it is most imperative to report these issues immediately, though I do understand that may not always be possible in some circumstances.

It does look like your character at least has enough gear to continue playing, which is good. I'm glad to see that you are at least able to continue your adventures. I do wish we were able to assist further. In the mean time though, if you have not done so already, I highly recommend checking and double-checking your computer for vulnerabilities to find the source of your compromise. This is a situation that no one should ever have to endure once, let alone a second time. I've provided some resources you may find valuable below, for your perusal. >^.^<
