So, is blizz hacked?

Seems every server has the [Removed]bug. It would seem clear to day to me that Blizz can fix this, yet they do nothing. If my computer was being hacked at regular intervals with the same software, I'd immediately recognize the pattern and fix it. I know there's enough Asperger types working at Blizzard to solve this annoying issue...

hfuhfuisd Falls asleep. Zzzzzzz.
hjfdfifuifd Falls Asleep. Zzzzzzz.
fhjasuidf Falls Asleep. Zzzzzzz.
hjfdsihuf Falls Asleep. Zzzzzzz.
hushufsd Falls Asleep. Zzzzzz.

^ Some people might not find that annoying, but I have trouble keeping up with guild text if I happen to be standing under a spam rainfall.

Unfortunately, Corather, you do not have as clear a view as you believe you do nor have we simply been doing nothing.

The method being used is not technically considered a hack, it is an exploit that uses the normal in-game mechanics. Unfortunately there is no easy resolution for this since our Developers would rather implement a resolution that doesn't involve preventing all characters from being able to move in any direction.

We have implemented a means to detect and rid a realm of groups of these, how quickly that happens varies on how quickly they can be detected. We also continue to look into preventative measures to stop this from happening in the first place.

If you find a group of these characters that seem to have persisted for awhile please report them via an in-game petition and it will be looked into.

Oh, I see. Censorship is the new patch.

Yes, Corather, I thought it better to remove the name of a popular gold selling site instead of simply suspending your posting privileges for advertising on their behalf.

Thing is, blizz can write code to ignore certain actions by these trial accounts. I don't see why it's that impossible. They don't allow in game trading for example, how hard is it to patch new software to disallow terrain exploits to be ignored by trial accounts?

The thing is, Corather, it is very easy to sit on the outside and say.. "well I could do this" or "it would be so easy to do X". The fact is that you truly have no idea. Even if you have programming or technical experience you aren't a a Developer or programmer for our game, so a clear understanding of the limitations and possibilities is not available to you.

So while we appreciate that this matter is frustrating, we are doing what we can, without negatively impacting legitimate players. This includes legitimate trial accounts created with the goal of actually trying out the game.

Now that I can appreciate.

Glad to hear it. :)
