My account was credited with a month of play time, and I have no idea why. I just happened to check my account today, and find out that I have a month of play time. I unsubscribed in July I believe (or June) for reasons I don't need to name.
Here is the problem: I did not ever WANT to resubscribe to World of Warcraft (at least until Cataclysm). I didn't even authorize any transaction on my card.
Well, I go into my bank account to see if it was actually MY card that was charged. Unfortunately, it won't show anything for today until the end of today. (I suspect it was charged today as my account says my play time expires October 28).
I went and checked the transaction history in my battle.net account and it says it's empty.
No one else I know of has access to my account information. This computer and all other computers I have played on have been secure, running virus, spyware, firewalls, the whole nine yards.
If someone has an answer, at least to calm myself, please help.
If this isn't some type of reward (I doubt it is), a blue can go ahead and take off the month of play time and refund the card that was charged if necessary.
Thanks for your time!
