The Spammers in Major Cities. ZzzZZzzzz....

Does blizzard have an official stance on this? Will there ever be a solution to stop this? It is extremely annoying. I am wondering if since our location in the game world is determined by the client and sent to the server (not the other way around like other mmo's I.E. EQ) thus allowing the spammers to do what they are currently doing, if there even can be a fix for this?

Does anyone know of any blue posts where blizzard has taken an official stance on this issue? I cannot seem to find anything on the subject.

We do have a system to track down the majority of these cases, Cain, in order to quickly remove them from the game. There is also work constantly being done on finding other ways to prevent or deter this type of spam before it ever happens, but it's a bit of a constant battle.

If you see such a situation, however, and you feel it may not have been looked at, please submit an in-game petition with the words 'Body spam' or 'corpse advertisement' in the description, as well as a location of where you're seeing it. We do have Game Masters that actively watch for these types of tickets so they can address them as soon as possible. >^.^<
