Name Change, weird situation

I got an e-mail yesterday that a character I've had as an alt on the Illidan-US server for over a year has been flagged for a name change because it violated the Naming Policy in some way. The character was a troll Death Knight named "Rivfader". I'm very confused as to how he warranted a name change, and even more so as I only login on him every few months or so to see how things are going on my old server. I never even bothered to level him past 55, he's sitting in the same spot as always in Acherus.

It looks like you may have misread the e-mail, Samej. The e-mail does NOT indicate any violation but rather suggests that when choosing a new name, you should be mindful of our Naming Policy.

The reason for the name change can be found in the first sentence of the e-mail sent to you.
