Coren Direbrew - Bug or really unlucky RNG?

Sorry if this comes off as me just complaining about this, but I thought there may be a technical issue at work here --

I've run the Coren Direbrew event every day it has been available since the begining of Brewfest on each of my 4 80s, leading to 64 Keg-Shaped Treasure Chests (16 days of brewfest times 4 level 80 characters per day). Not a single one of these contained a ram, kodo, or remote. Since I've run it the maximum possible number of times and still not gotten the reward and the event is now ending, I thought maybe there could be some technical issue preventing me from getting these items. It is statistically very, very unlikely that I wouldn't ever see ANY of these items on ANY character, having run it the largest number of times allowed by the game.

Could this be related to one of my characters already having the kodo/remote from a previous year? I just find it hard to believe that I haven't seen one of any of these drop, while most people I speak to who have done the same have seen several. I have seen the tankard and shanker drop multiple times, but never any of the other drops. Can I get a confirm/deny on whether there is something that might cause this behavior or have I just somehow incurred the lasting wrath of the RNG gods?

It's a little disheartening that I could put the most effort into it that the game will allow and still come up empty-handed.

Thanks.

Though I can not speak to your relationship with the uncertain and fickle gods of RNG, Reijuu, I can say with absolute certainty that your ability to receive a particular item is only based on random probability. It doesn't matter on class, race, the time of day or if you ate your Wheaties that morning.

Unfortunately, Reijuu, that is the nature of random chance. I haven't seen either of the mounts on any of my characters either so hopefully we will both have more luck next year. :)

Actually, this was not always so. The first year that we had brewfest, you could collect a large number of brewfest tickets and buy an "'Honorary Brewer' Hand Stamp" that started a quest. Turning in that quest allowed you to buy a Brewfest mount for 10g (normal) or 100g (epic).

That one always kills me. I was able to do that quest on my Hunter, which allowed me access to the vendor and though I had enough tickets to purchase it for my Paladin he wasn't high enough yet so I figured I would just do next year. >.<

Oh, the joy of the transitional nature of games. :D
