Dec 7, Digital Download Performance

So, as was announced, Cata will be available on Dec 7th... if I'm keeping my facts straight, 10am PST, the Blizzard store will have the digital download available.

I'm extremely interested in the digital download, but like many, I'm not particularly interested in waiting any longer than I must to dive into the new content.

Can anyone tell me how the Starcraft 2 Digital Download / Streaming was performing, on release day? Was it slow, fast? I suspect that if it was buggy, Blizz will have long fixed those bugs so I'm not so concerned about those... merely performance. My own internet connection is more than sufficient (15 mbit).

Given the fact that nearly 90% of WoW users will be on and fighting over the same kobolds (hope they have many candles!), the load on the datacenters will be massive - it has to have an impact, unless the downloads are hosted by a third party?

We have not yet announced when the Cataclysm download will be available for purchase, Hemorrhoid. With that said, if you want to play the content immediately upon release, purchasing the game from a retailer may be the best option.
