Cata pre-order = Digital download?

Hello, I pre-ordered the collector's edition for Cataclysm through Amazon. Today, it finally posted a delivery date: January 4, 2011. With Cataclysm's recent announcement that it will be released on the 7th, and that a digital download will be available - will this download also be made available to pre-orders somehow? I really don't want to sit at level 80 for an extra month and watch everyone pass me by.

    IRVINE, Calif. -- October 4, 2010 Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that World of Warcraft®: Cataclysmâ„¢, the highly anticipated third expansion for the world's most popular subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game*, will be released starting on December 7, 2010. The expansion will be available on DVD-ROM for Windows® XP/Windows Vista®/Windows® 7 and Macintosh® at a suggested retail price of $39.99 and will also be offered as a digital download from the Blizzard Store. A special Collector’s Edition packed with bonus items will be available exclusively in retail stores for a suggested retail price of $79.99.
