Restoration ticket response says...

"We were able to provide the restoration you requested ...(etc)" but the character I restored is not showing up on my login screen. I logged out fully several times and she's not there yet. Does it take a bit for her to show up? Or should I press the "Need more help" button on my ticket response?

Thanks! :)

Try creating a new level 1 toon on the server, log into the game with it, then log out. this should force the character selection screen to refresh.

That would be my recommendation as well. If you do not see the character after that please return and give me what name/realm of that character and I'll check it out.
Q u o t e:

The restored character in question is my 10th slot. Should I still try it?

Hmm, you should be able to if the restored character takes the 10th slot. Can you give me the name of the character?

You responded very quickly after my response - is this still okay to do when the restored toon is the 10th slot?

edit - just saw your edit :P Sandwiches, level 80 warrior, Dragonmaw

Aye, it looks like the character was restored. The list just doesn't want to update. :(

I have one shiny button at my disposal that may do the trick and update that list but I need you to log out of the game completely, shutting down the client. Can you do that and let me know when it has been done?

I'm fully exited out of WoW now. :)

Shiny button engaged!

Go ahead and try logging back in.

She's being stubborn - still not there. I exited out again in case your button misfired.

Ok, give is another try.

Still not there. She must be scared to come back :,(

Let me try a couple of things. Give me a few moments.

She still hasn't shown up on the list. :( I've closed WoW again, and thank you for your continued help, I really appreciate it. :)

OK, I may have two more options... because I'm stubborn.

Try creating and deleting a character on a different realm, see if that refreshes your list on Dragonmaw.

No luck there.

OK, last idea before we move to the next level. Delete a character on the realm, make sure it is one that isn't a guild leader or member of an arena team, etc... then let me know.

I'll restore that character which will hopefully refresh the list.

I'm not entirely certain if this matters to you but your secondary account has a character that is holding your characters name. When you are able to see your character on the list it will be named: Sandwichxyz and be flagged for a rename. If you want to reclaim the previous name you'll need to delete that other character before you use that rename.

I deleted Iggletron (80 druid), Sandwichxyz appeared :) The name issue is fine. Take however long you need to restore the other. Should I exit out again?

It shouldn't be needed. :) Iggletron has already been restored, check your character list when you can.

Haha, Iggletron is not there! If the list will *eventually* update with her in it, it's not a pressing concern. She's mostly there for sentimental value. Otherwise, I'd be happy to do whatever you need me to.

*laughs* I was expecting it.

It should eventually update, usually during maintenance. If it does not, please return and I'll see what I can do. I'm here Sunday through Thursday mid-afternoon and into the night. :)
