My 1 month free account got onto the beta....

I am not sure if this the right place to be posting this but here goes:

A while back I had to uninstall WoW from my computer, unfortunately I had not made so i could use the old boxes so i had to buy a new set of wow disc's. When I got the discs I tried to get it to bind to the account but it then made a another account on the same username called Wow 1. I did not see this as a problem til now. Today I got the E-mail many Wow players dream of, a Beta invitation. But when i go though all the installation of the Beta i find that the Wow 1 name his the one that got the Beta. Why did this happen and is there a way you could put it on the account i use?

When you log into the Beta, the account you'll see listed is WOW1 (the PTR version). If you go to do a PTR Character Copy, it will have you pick from your main account

The Beta isn't linked to an account, it is linked to your B.net account. There is nothing that you need to do, the Beta acts like another account on your B.net account.

Correct! Head over to https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/beta-charcopy/character-copy.html and you can either copy a character from any of your active WoW accounts or copy a premade character.

This is more than likely caused by security features on your computer. Your firewall settings would be a good place to start.

3. This last one is not at all related to the other questions but for my character pic over here it has the older form of one of my characters. I know this because Holyscourge is now a troll with a different name. -_-
Plus when i go to again it it does not have the new name on the list.

Try switching characters, reply to any post â–º completely log out from the forums â–º Log back in and switch back to Holyscourge.
