Crafter Scammed Me - Anything a GM can do?

Got the mats for Footpads of Impending Death together. Traded them to *edit: Someone*. He made them, and then when I tried to open trade I got a "player is logging out" message.

He logged, and now I'm wondering if there's anything a GM can/will do? I've got a ticket open in game, but I've got the feeling I'm going to be waiting a while, so I just wanted to get some input on what I can expect.

Any help or similar experiences would be appreciated!

It's truly best to not be petty in these situations - better to submit the petition and let our Game Masters handle the issue for you, Formed. Much of the advice provided here is excellent already, but I did want to clarify that going out of your way to contact him again is really not in your best interests.
