Real ID issues?

I just started about a week ago, and since I started playing I have been unable to add friends to my social tab by e-mail address. I had an open ticket, however their response yielded no helpful information. Is the problem occuring because I'm not fully patched, or could it be something else such as an error on my part?

Try a full UI reset, just to make sure that it's not a display problem.

If that doesn't do it, check to see if Parental Controls are enabled on your account, because that is the only way to actually disable the Real ID feature.
