Realm and Faction change issue.

So, I was a bit stupid. I paid for a realm and faction change, and received both which is great.

I had created a DK to reserve my character name (Talissan) on the new server, so upon transfer I was flagged for a rename.

I deleted my DK, did the faction change, was able to rename in the process of changing factions, and Voila... got my character name back!

Except... I'm still flagged for a rename, so now it's asking me to change my name, and won't let me keep the name I just gave him (Talissan) because "it's already taken" (yeah, by me)

Is there anything I can do about this, including talking to a GM within the game?
