How can I ensure safe looting practices?

Basically what i'm wondering is this. I understand that there is no "ninjaing" in WoW etc etc, but how can I stay safe? For example I am now making it a habit of running Tempest Keep weekly for the odd chance of the mount. It has yet to drop but every single time we run they switch it to masterloot during the fight.

By having them state "open roll on mount" or anything more specific, can I ensure they would not get away with stealing the mount? I understand "Don't trust people with masterloot" but it gets kind of hard to monitor it when they change it after stating otherwise.

Long story short: How can I keep looting fair or is my only option to run as masterloot myself / run with friends?

Running your own honorable raids - and running with friends is indeed your safest option.

Short of that - making sure the loot rules are stated - ingame - and crystal clear is your next backup defense against these sort of shenanigans. That will allow us to do a proper investigation should someone be tempted to be less than honorable.
