PTR/Cat Question

I thought I'd received a Cataclysm beta invite, so I installed the PTR (during the installation the Cat screen showed,) it made me agree to a Cat-based set of rules, but then when I loaded up the game it seems like the normal game so I'm a bit lost.

Also, though I might figure this out by the time someone replies, how do I import one of my other characters into the PTR?

Are you sure this email was from us? The reason I ask, is because I do not see that this account has been flagged for Cataclysm beta. Please check the header of the email you received to make sure it is legit, please follow the steps here:
