Possable Account scam

I received an email that claims it from Blizzard but wound up in my junk folder. It talks about cleaning up the servers by deleting inactive accounts, stating if you wish to keep your account, to log on to your battle.net account through a link they provide. The email has a repeating text error, and simply does not feel real. I messaged a friend, and they say they haven't received it. I've also tried to forward it to hacks@blizzard.com but my hotmail refuses to send it claiming it's spam.

The email you received did not come from us as I am sure you are aware of now. If you continue to receive phishing emails you may want to consider updating the email address associated to the Battle.net account.

Some emails can be deceiving. This one just happened to have a lot of errors in it which gave away the fact it is a phishing email. If you receive an email that appears to be from us, please check the email headers before proceeding:
