Will i be able to buy cata as gift?

Unfortunately, Suigintou, though the expansion should be available for purchase via the Blizzard Store as a digital download I believe it will operate like the other expansions in that you can only upgrade an account. I don't believe you'll be able to gift an upgrade to another account.

More information will be available closer to release though so keep an eye out for it. Until then I can only guess based off of previous releases. :)
