Hi, i just want to say something.

I come from France, when i was in France i've got a Wow french account and i've got to 80 player on it. A paladin and mage. Both of them was up with recruit a friend and so my mage was having the rocket mount.
2 month ago i moved in Canada, and i make friends at work, and so i play with that friend. I start a new character (warlock), and i was thinking blizzard can transfer my french paladin and mage to my canadian account for free.

Cause i immigrate here in canada, i've got the canadian ambassade paper for proof.
But Blizzard, just send me a reply who say, EU and US server don't have the same database, so i'm ******.
What can i do, pay and play with my french account, but with the 8 hours of jetlike, that's just impossible on weekdays cause i work. And the weekend i've got a life..

Or i can continue play with my canadian account, but i need to redo my 80 paladin and my 80 mage, find someone with who i can make the recruit a friend, and restuff these guy. So re spending time on wow for leveling.

I just want to say that's incredible, i pay during one year for my french account, i immigrate in canada, and i need to redo all of that..OMG

For sure WOW is just a game, but for exemple when i say to my phone contractor i immigrate in canada, they give me the phone for free, and the subscribe for free (cause i subscribe for 2 years, but i keep it during 1 year, so normally if you don't have a good proof, you pay for the next year, cause you don't respect the terms.)
And that's like that for the internet, tv, bank...but for a video game, a hobby, they just say they can't do something..... nice, making happy.

Thanks BliBli, your incredible, like always.

PS: my english is not perfect, i just move in Calgary 2 month ago, can't be perfect in only 2 month.

So GM can't help, but why someone can't help me ?

Simply, Warlognack, because the option is not available. Each region has it's own hardware and those systems are not connected. There is currently no way to transfer a character from one region to the other.

Keep in mind as well that even though they are the same game in both regions they have completely different Battle.net accounts and billing systems. Those are also not connected as they are run by their respective regions.

I'm sorry, Warlognack, but if you wish to play with the friends you made on the North America version of the game you will need to maintain a North American account. We are currently unable to transfer characters between regions. Though it is not impossible that such an option will be implemented in the future I know of no current plans to do so.

If you wish to see such an option implemented please post in our Suggestions forum, our Developers will be able to review your request there and take it under advisement.

Ya that i understand, they can't transfer, i'm ok with that.
But why, even a dev, can't create a new character grant him to 80 and give some stuff?

If they were to do that for you, Warlognack, they would have to do that for everyone else who also would like to transfer between the regions. As that is not a service we provide, we can not grant that request to everyone who makes it and thus we are unable to grant that request to anyone that makes it.

The fact is, i officialy immigrate, i've got the mail of the ambassade of canada for proof.
So they don't need to do that for everyone, but for every person who got a good proof, i think that a normal things that Customer Service can do, and should do.

Immigration doesn't change your account affiliations, Warlognack, regardless of what kind of paperwork and verification you have this is not a service that we offer.

Customer Service is about helping customers with their in-game and account concerns and providing them with assistance with the services that we do offer. I'm sorry, Warlognack, but it is not about doing whatever a someone wants simply because they want it.

We do everything in our power to help our players but it has to be within both our mechanics and policies.
